André Melançon will be the president of Festimaj 2008. André Melançon is the most famous film-maker of Quebec of films for children.
The fifth edition will take place in Meyzieu from May 27th to May 31st, 2008. Quebec will be the guest star as it is the Quebec year in France.
To celebrate this fifth edition, to all those who wish to participate we suggest to work on the following theme : ‘My Seven Wonders” But the participants are also free to choose any subject they would like to work on.
The festival is open to all pupils or students from nursery schools to University. Films can be made within or outside a school or College as well as in an artistic workshop, individually or not.
Participants must register on-line until April 15th 2008. Registrations are free. The films must be sent before May 1st 2008.
The films will be preselected by a jury. The list of the selected films will be on our website. We will also e-mail it. and the list with the selected films will be sent by mail in May 10th and will be on web site the same day.
The schools are welcome during the festival and can register on request. The participation is free.
